Dhar, September 3: Police arrested two persons for allegedly operating a betting racket in Tornod village under the jurisdiction of Naogaon police station on Thursday. Ten betting slips and ₹1,510 in cash were seized from their possession. According to police, Superintendent of Police, Dhar, had directed the Naogaon police to take effective action against illegal gambling and betting activities in the area. Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a spot near the main road at Talai in Tornod village, where Rahul alias Dandi, son of Dashrath Patidar, and his associate Ramesh, son of Lalsingh Bhil, a resident of Pinjaraya under Sadalpur police station, were allegedly accepting money and recording betting numbers.   कुक्षी। ग्राम सुसारी में किराना दुकान के ताले तोड़कर हुई चोरी का कुक्षी पुलिस ने 72 घंटे में खुलासा कर दिया। पुलिस ने मामले में साहेब पिता लोभु सिंगार (32), निवासी ग्राम गेट्टा, थाना टांडा को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी के कब्जे से करीब ₹85 हजार का चोरी गया किराना सामान, ड्रायफ्रूट, कोल्ड ड्रिंक एवं अन्य सामग्री तथा वारदात में प्रयुक्त बिना नंबर की साइन मोटरसाइकिल बरामद की गई। पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपी ने दो अन्य साथियों के साथ मिलकर चोरी की वारदात को अंजाम देना स्वीकार किया है। दोनों फरार आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है। कार्रवाई पुलिस अधीक्षक धार सचिन शर्मा के निर्देशन में कुक्षी पुलिस टीम द्वारा की गई।
