12-Foot ‘Matabakhla Cha Maharaja’ Ganesh Idol Becomes Major Attraction...

Dhar: A magnificent 12-foot-tall idol of Lord Ganesha, titled “Matabakhla Cha Maharaja,” has been installed at Matabakhla on the occasion of Ganeshotsav by the Shri Sheetla Mata Seva Samiti. The grand idol, noted for its elaborate artwork and imposing appearance, has emerged as a major attraction for devotees in the area.

Unique Concept Showcasing Lord Shiva’s Family

This year, Lord Ganesha has been presented in a majestic “Maharaja” form. The idol depicts Lord Ganesha seated in a royal posture, with divine representations of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the background.

The composition also features Lord Shiva’s trident, symbolising strength and determination, along with Nandi, representing devotion and dedication. The multi-armed divine form incorporated into the artwork reflects power and spiritual strength. Together, these elements depict the unity of Lord Shiva’s family and the grandeur of Sanatan culture.

A Glimpse of Mount Kailash

The towering, mountain-shaped backdrop of the installation gives visitors an impression of Mount Kailash, traditionally regarded as the abode of Lord Shiva. Against this divine setting, the majestic presence of Lord Ganesha seated on a royal throne adds to the grandeur of the pandal.

Blend of Faith, Strength and Culture

The “Matabakhla Cha Maharaja” installation presents a blend of devotion, spiritual symbolism and cultural artistry. By bringing together Lord Ganesha and the divine forms associated with the Shiva family, the organisers have created an elaborate religious display that is attracting devotees during the festival.

A large number of devotees are visiting the venue to seek the blessings of the 12-foot-tall “Matabakhla Cha Maharaja,” while the festive spirit of Ganeshotsav continues to spread across the area.
