Nisarpur, Dhar:- Nisarpur Police have arrested two persons in connection with the theft of nine DI water pipeline pipes and recovered the stolen material along with the vehicle allegedly used in the crime. The total value of the seized property is estimated at ₹10.90 lakh.

According to police, nine DI pipes worth around ₹1.90 lakh were stolen during the night of August 30 from near Lalla Dhaba on the Barwani Road in Nisarpur. A case was registered at Kukshi Police Station under Section 303(2) of the BNS.

Eicher Vehicle Used in Theft Seized...

During the investigation, police found an Eicher vehicle loaded with the stolen pipes hidden in bushes about one kilometre from the spot. On questioning the vehicle owner, police traced the vehicle to Anand Yadav (26) of Betma, Indore. His driver, Vinayak Chaudhary (20), was also questioned.

Police said both accused admitted to stealing the pipes along with other persons. They were arrested on September 3 and produced before the court, which granted police remand. Further investigation is underway to identify and arrest the other persons involved and to inquire into possible links with other theft cases.

Police seized nine DI pipes worth ₹1.90 lakh and a Geru-coloured Eicher vehicle (MP13GB 5190) valued at around ₹9 lakh, taking the total seizure to ₹10.90 lakh.

The action was carried out under the direction of senior police officers by the Kukshi and Nisarpur police teams.
